Mimetika LightDeck System — advanced solutions to repair, wrap or replace yacht ceiling panels, ensuring consistent finishes, clean installation and long-term maintainability. No more mismatched white deckheads.
A hidden problem present on almost every yacht: when a deckhead panel is damaged and repainted, the white shifts in tone, the gloss level changes, the texture is different — the repair becomes visible.
Repaint once → mismatch forever. Wrap once → consistency over time.
Instead of repainting, Mimetika repairs damaged panels, prepares the surface and applies a premium wrapping film — guaranteeing the same color and the same finish across every panel.

"The difference is visible every day onboard."
Deckhead solutions developed for Ferretti Group projects and applied on the Sanlorenzo SX120 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, in collaboration with architecture studios including Lissoni.
It's the question we're always asked, and it's a fair one — on most of the work you see out there, the answer is yes. That's because PVC overlaps, and it shrinks in the sun: the overlap pulls taut, the edge lifts. Our TPU doesn't overlap — it's butt-welded edge to edge, so panel-to-panel the finish stays continuous.
On deckheads, panels are removed, wrapped and reinstalled in sequence, on board or in a yard area — no trips to a paint shop, no drying time to wait out.
The affected panel is replaced. That's a real difference from paint, where a localised repair is almost always visible. And because the finish comes from a catalogue, the new panel stays identical to the others even years later.
Yes, and at scale. On M/Y Queen Miri, we covered around 1,200 m² of deckheads.
