They completed their works to a very high standard, and when we noticed any small imperfections they immediately fixed them with a smile on their face. I would highly recommend Mimetika for the wrapping of marble and other similar jobs, and will gladly make use of their services again. We had the pleasure of having Fabio and Luciano from Mimetika assist us on board during a shipyard period.
The goal was to get the marble in the guest area protected to prevent future damage and to lift the overall quality and look of the marble tops, tables and bars in these areas.

We had some really bad visible damage on the boot strip which had to be covered. Lots of small dings. Seeing we will be undergoing a full hull paint this winter, we did not want to waste money on paint repair.
Mimetika was recommended to me to investigate and see if vinyl wrapping to cover up the damage will work. Fabio and team was quick to respond to visit the yacht for investigation and consult.
They quote for a far better price then what a paint repair in this situation would have cost and much quicker. I was very impressed about the response of getting back and do the work!
As most of us know in Italy could be quite slow! Mimetika also wrapper the aft gangway where we had alignment issues and damage the top paint work. I would recommend them to anyone and would be very happy to use them again for any wrapping related work.

Wrapping the hull of a classic wooden sailing yacht isn't a common practice, but it offered an intriguing and cost-effective alternative to traditional painting, as quoted by several professional painters.
Fabio and Matteo eagerly took on the challenge.
Now, in our second season, the wrap is holding up remarkably well, and we are delighted with the results.
Through this experience, we've learned a great deal about enhancing the application of wraps on wooden hulls. We are definitely considering wrapping again, perhaps with an entirely new design next time!

I met Mimetika at the Boat Show in Cannes back in 2023 when I bought my 2007 Fjord 40 Cruiser.

We hired Mimetika to carry out the wrap of the stern of Elise Whisper, a 78 ft Southern Wind racing cruiser.
The stern was lightly scratched, and needed attention.
Due to the continuous wear and tear, we opted for the wrap solution rather than the repaint as this could be redone almost on a yearly basis and is dramatically cost effective vis a vis the repaint.
The challenge was to match Elise Whisper’s unique color, which is a bespoke, very original, light grey metallic coating. Mimetika did a fine job, quickly and timely; the stern looks as if freshly painted and there is no visible difference between the wrap and the rest of the hull.
We also appreciated their after sales service, needed to fine tune a few details after completion of the work.
